Project Description:
Creation of Microsoft Access Tables, Forms and Report to support the management of Insurance sales, policy management and commission tracking. Today, each insurance carrier creates a commission statement every month, which we must download and manually enter into an Excel Spreadsheet. We would like to download this data directly into a “Carrier Table”. The table should keep data in such an order that we could report on it month over month, year over year, etc.
When a new sale is made we would like to have an online form that our sales person or administrator could fill out with the information that is available. Later on as more information become available, we should be able to update that Client’s file. I would like to have the ability to search our client base at any time by line of coverage, sales rep, or any other data element. Storing a PDF version of a policy in the client’s file would be important.
Lastly, creating Sales or Management reports of the data is key. (See samples) This project is not too technically difficult, but we don’t have the time to stop and develop it. Microsoft Access is our choice because the size and scope of this project is small, but if you have alternative suggestions we would be open.

- Ability to store PDF docs and images.
- Access to data via the cloud and shareable with security.
