STM32 correction programme code

I have an STM32 that can execute some commands.
The programme code is already complete and the USB communication is also complete.
However, I would like to have small extensions and problems solved:
Problems:
As soon as I send a message to the STM32 via USB, I want a reply back with the message I sent.
Currently it receives the message and also sends a message back but sometimes after the 3 attempt sometimes already after the 2 attempt it does not return anymore.
Extension:
As soon as a message is received, the LED on the STM32 should flash for 1 second.
I would also like my programme to be checked for correct functioning.
