Rototech Pte Ltd is a company engaged in the deseign and building of practical robotic solutions for the oil and gas and renewable industries. We want to design a wrapping module to fit to our Roto Climber Mk 2 system. This will be able to apply robotically a wrapping around a pipe that is either vertical or horizontal in the water, splash zone or above water.
What we are proposing is new and has not been done before.
The succesful candidate will need to sign and NDA and a Non Compete agreement.
There are more modules to design after this one.
There is a guidance for this deseign to be simple, robust lightweight and small.
The drive will be a mix of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical with electronic sensors and cameras.
The applicant does not need to know about designing subsea equipment but a knowledge and ability to use Solid works is preferred as well as the ability to speak english. Work can be done at home. Project duration is envisaged at 2 months prior to start to build.
