Grocery price comparison application

I need development of an iphone application for a grocery price comparison service. We are writing the server side, so the work involves only client side.
The application has the following flows:
1. Initial use - user sees a tutorial composed of 3 images (one after the other).
2. Registration - register using facebook, or login/register with email+password.
[login to view URL] - user has shopping lists, he can select a list/edit and ask for a price comparison either around his current location, or around a selected address.
[login to view URL] - user gets a comparison result with best stores in the area, displayed either as bar graph or on google maps. selecting an options drills down to a detailed list of products/prices.
5. Scan - user can take pictures of products in order to add them, this involves having a customized camera with an overlay layer.
and the end of the compare, and scan flows user sees an animation.
Required Skills:
Application should be able to communicate with server (we will provide the Jasons) asynchronously, the UI should not block when uploading a scanned image.
Some basic image processing such as croping, and greyscale will be done by the application (probably needs using Quartz 2D).
Overlay on camera.
Controlling camera.
GUI specification, design, and server side will be provided by us.
