Firefox Extension

I need a firefox plugin programmed with javascript, ajax, xul DOM. I am designing the skin/template for it. The toolbar will display one of two images one says yes one says no, it will take the current domain using DOM and send it to a php script to check it against a database if the domain exists it will switch the image to yes.png. I believe the examples of AJAX/php/mysql below will help and make it easy
