I have a large Joomla 2.5/Jomsocial 2.6 based site with 10000+ members. I have developed a brand new site design and it's based on Joomla 3.1 and Jomsocial 3. I ran into problems trying to update the old it to both Joomla 3.1 and Jomsocial 3 version so I want to be able to import all jomsocial data into the fresh new site.
Now I have heard this is quite complex as you need user id's and things to match up or you can really mess things up.
So basically I am needed someone that thinks this is possible to do without glitches or someone that can be there to help this transfer in a timely matter as i will have to shut down the currently active site, and get the new version up with very little down time once everything is ready to go.
So to recap, we would be importing Jomsocial, Kunena and perhaps a few addons or data from the Joomla2.5/Jomsocial 2.6 site into the newly designed Joomla 3.1/Jomsocial 3.0 based site.
Skilled bidders only, you must have extensive knowledge of MYSQL, Joomla and Jomsocial.
Also I aware of the upgrade process for Jomsocial 2.6 to 3.0, I tried to do the upgrade myself and kept running into white screen errors etc that I could not fix. That is why I want to start fresh and bring the data into the new design and install.
