Web Engineer Needed
We are a medical services start up, and we help individuals and businesses save money when they need medical care in the United States or overseas. Our current web engineer has moved on, so we need to hire new talent. Our website is HIPAA compliant, up and running, and we have paying clients. Our new web engineer will need to maintain our data integrity, maintain the database as a whole, and create additional features to meet current and future business needs.
We're looking for a web engineer/developer who has the following skills and experience:
• In depth knowledge and experience developing e-commerce solutions using Linux administration, PHP & MySql
• Experience with CodeIgniter framework
• Advance knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, JSON,
• Expert in JavaScript, AJAX and REST
• Experience with jQuery, Wordpress, scripting, web/cloud hosting, and Git
• Solid understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, cookies, headers, asset loading / caching)
There is quite a bit of development work to do at the moment, and despite our scalability we're certain to need additional development work as we grow. I'm afraid I can't really put a number on the hours required - we're looking for an ongoing business relationship, and the work will be done when both business needs and free cash permit.
