The application of this plugin will be when a migrating a site to wordpress. The plugin will be installed on the Wordpress site that will be located on a development server. It will search the live (old) site for content and match it to posts & pages on the new site and establish 301 redirects.
Considerations:
-The development copy of the website may be just an ip address, a temporary domain/subdomain, or a directory on the live (old) website. This plugin must be able to handle a change of url for making the new site live.
-Content will be paired through text comparison (unless you have a better idea). Content on the old site that doesn't have a match on the new site will be listed for admin to view.
Deliverable:
-A Wordpress plugin with 100% unique and personally written code. If you plan on using any existing code, you must notify me in project proposal.
