The project is to develop a CodeIgniter intranet web application which queries a corporate ERP system database (MS-SQL Server). The results of the queries are displayed on the user’s web browser.
The application is somewhat of a “framework” as it will allow an unlimited of SQL queries to be added in the future. The “smarts” of this application will be in its design to allow an unlimited number of SQL queries, and to correctly and cleverly format and display the query results, depending on a set number of display rules, and the type of data returned from a query.
The output data will also be exportable to excel or CSV format.
