Here is your fact pattern:

On January 6, 2021, the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. was stormed during a riot and violent attack against the U.S. Congress. A mob of supporters of President Donald Trump attempted to overturn his defeat in the 2020 presidential election by disrupting the joint session of Congress assembled to count electoral votes to formalize Joe Biden's victory. The Capitol complex was locked down and lawmakers and staff were evacuated while rioters occupied and vandalized the building for several hours. More than 140 people were injured in the storming. Five people died either shortly before, during, or after the event.

Frannie was involved in the riot and was witnessed by others beating up several other rioters and an employee of the U.S. Congressional staff. Photos of Frannie have been posted on Facebook and she admits it is her in the photos. However, Frannie contends that she was acting in self-defense. Furthermore, Frannie contends that some evidence has been illegally obtained against her.

Frannie is the Vice President of Patriot Products, Inc. Patriot Products manufactures and sells products that promote the United States, patriotism, and American history. She has an employment contact that clearly states she is to reframe from engaging in any anti-American behavior and could face discipline up to and including discharge from her position in the company. She has been called into the Human Resource office regarding her employment and her actions on January 6, 2021.
