Simple but photorealistic 3D rendering

Dear Artist,
We would like to create a photorealistic 3D-rendered version of the attached "writing tablet." The tablet needs to be 3d modelled, textured and added lighting to in a way that it's awesome to look at. Specific details such as colors and textures are flexible, but the dimensions should stay the same. In particular, we need to retain the black bar on top (text gets printed there) the space to the left and to the right of the bar and the space on the wooden part at the bottom.
This is the first of a continuous series of projects. We hope to retain the same artist for all of these projects.
