Shopify custom integration and API integration with Shipstation

We need the logic created to subtract two BUSINESS days and populate a field with that date.
This then needs to be stored in Shopify, and synced via API to Shipstation.
From what I understand, this will require a custom integration and development with ruby on rails and the API
