I am an experienced electronic engineer who has worked in a wide range of industries and sectors in a variety of roles and been involved from initial design, through to manufacture. The core of my design experience is designing Embedded Systems based on microprocessors and their ancillary systems. Schematic Capture / Electronic Design / PCB Design using Altium Designer. With over 20 years’ experience of designing electronic boards with Altium, I have designed hundreds of products ranging from simple PLC interfaces up to 20-layer high speed boards. With a reputation for designing boards that pass EMC and other certifications first time, I design boards tailored for small or large volume production. As part of the response to the Covid pandemic, I am diversifying into the freelancing market alongside the more traditional contract based B2B market that I normally operate in. I am therefore looking for opportunities to deliver projects successfully and grow my freelancing reputation.
