Because in a world where technological developments are increasingly large and increasingly fast, the changes that are made at the business level are also. And as a professional focused on cybersecurity, it is super important to be aware of these advances in order to protect the business from different malicious users who want to take advantage of it in an illegitimate way. That is why it is not only important to learn new programming languages, technologies, and tools to implement solutions as a blue teamer, but also to learn to have a second look, different from that of a programmer, such as the perspective of a red teamer. That is why today I am also training in penetration testing. In this way, the solution I propose will be more integral and solid than if I only stay with the vision of blue teamer. Deep down, I am a person who loves to learn and solve problems. Every project in which I participate is an opportunity to give my best and test my knowledge, among them: programming knowledge in Golang and Python, vulnerability search with SAST and DAST, classification and management of vulnerabilities (CVE) and weaknesses (CWE) through CVSS and CWSS, perimeter security, monitoring, integrations in the CI/CD pipeline, and cloud technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform. These are some of the knowledge that I use on a daily basis as an Application Security Engineer to search for vulnerabilities and manage them to improve the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
