I offer two standards of service. Professional and Semi-Professional. Anything higher the my standard rate per hour is considered pr ofessional work, anything lower then my standard rate per hour is considered semi professional. What each level of service buys you: Semi-professional services provides you with first print, non-exclusive publication rights to the material I create for you. What this means is that I will use all the content I create for you in my portfolio and in whatever other services I deem necessary to publicize and promote my work. Professional service rates provide you with exclusive first publication rights for as long as you need to use the work I have provided for you. After the expiration of that time or 7 years, whichever is first I can use that work to promote myself in my portfolio or whatever services I deem necessary to publicize and promote my experience in this industry. If you wish to pay me per item this is what I charge for professional service: o News Articles ( web related ): $15 per 500 words o E-books:$15 per 500 words o Novels and Books: $75 per 500 words(i.e. the shortest length that qualifies for a novel or 50000 words would cost $7500 dollars for ghostwriting). o Magazine articles: $60 per 500 words o Articles for web content, not related to news: $10 per 500 words. Completion rates do vary: I typically write drafts at about 500 words an hour. Editing time(and if a writer claims they don't need to edit their work they lie to you) varies depending on the project. But it is a safe bet to double the writing time for most circumstances.. Ergo the above mentioned 50000 word novel would take 100 hours to write a first draft, and 200 hours to get it to final draft or approximately 25 days of nonstop writing.
