My name is Maia Aizner. I’m an Argentinian web designer and front-end developer. I’ve been working in the IT industry for ten years. On the design side, I work with a user-centered approach called Design thinking. It is a set of techniques to build a solution as the user validates it progressively in stages. On the development side, I like to create light and easy to understand code. That's why I prefer to do my own code from scratch, but I understand, in terms of workload, how code libraries could help, so I always consider the needs of the project first. Having worked in large organizations gave me the opportunity to get involved in large projects that are built taking into account that things can change constantly. We learn to work with Agile methodologies that allow us to make a mistake, repair and continue without compromising the project. After working in different positions as graphic designer, front-end developer, and technical referent, I decided to start working as a freelancer a year ago because I wanted to have the chance to be my own boss.
