I have my Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) which prepared me for roles in all things human science, education, research, data analysis, designing learning/training programs, creating and implementing behavior change interventions, and, academic writing. I have been in the field of ABA for 4 years.
Before graduate school, I intended on going to medical school. As such, the jobs I held after obtaining my Bachelor's in Psychology/Pre-Med were in the health and medical field. I have worked as a medical scribe and clinical researcher and have a a deep interest for the health science sector. I am currently a free-lance personal trainer and have been for 8 years, and have found that behavior analysis and fitness go hand-in-hand together.
My lifelong passions have been in philosophy, political science, history and creative writing. Somehow I have weaved these disciplines and my outlet for artistic release is writing short stories and film scripts in sci-fi, fantasy and historic fiction. Mystical poetry is a meditative practice for me and I am creating poems and lyrics, daily. Lately, I've been studying how to write as an investigative journalist.
In my senior year of high school I was voted "Most likely to become Myspace famous". I did not become Myspace famous but I have been ghost-writing captions and creating product names for social media influencers. My latest gig has been volunteering as a social media administrator for a charity organization.
Besides English, I am fluent in Dari and Pashto and speak Urdu, conversationally. I have been a part of one project to translate Dari and Pashto for a feature length documentary.
