This is the work that has to be done in a university's VPS: DSPACE INSTALLATION ⁃ Installation of the operating system for the Debian or Ubuntu server or similar. ⁃ Java installation. ⁃ Apache Tomcat server installation. ⁃ Installation of the PostgreSQL database engine. ⁃ Deployment of DSPACE 6.3. ⁃ Cronjobs for updating the OAI-PMH. ⁃ CSS style sheet for the repository. ⁃ Configuration for integration with ALICIA and RENATI according to ALICIA-CONCYTEC specifications. ⁃ Metadata entry (ALICIA/UNDQT). ⁃ Creation of communities and subcommunities. ⁃ Enable HANDLE redirection (with subdomain ). ⁃ Enable AWStats or Google Analytics system to show statistics associated with the repository.
