I can eat, drink and breath C++ and C programming. Fortran is a small procedural language, quite simple compared to C++, but has very powerful math libraries. Understand and determine the baseline metrics such as lines of code, number of classes, how the code fits together, is it s GUI based application or command line. Opportunities for automating use cases (C++ wrapper unit tests) or is manual back box testing is all that is required 2) Develop test cases, and document. Agree with you the client 3) Run though the test cases , report the outcome, review and if necessary plan additional testing 4) If required perform exploratory testing to provide developers with more information about any defects 5) Provide final feedback If you are able to provide any information about the application to be tested in line with the questions in point 1 above it would help me to understand more about the work you require.
