samples::: my favorite soft drinks:: slice:: Slice is a line of fruit-flavored soft drinks manufactured by PepsiCo and introduced in 1984, with the lemon-lime flavor replacing Teem. Varieties of Slice have included apple, fruit punch, grape, passionfruit, peach glaze, Mandarin orange, pineapple, strawberry, Cherry Cola, "Red", Cherry-Lime, and Dr Slice. Until 1994, the drink contained 10% fruit juice. The original design of the can was a solid color related to the flavor of the drink. These were replaced in 1994 with black cans that featured colorful bursts (once again, related to the flavor of the drink), along with slicker graphics. In 1997, the cans became blue with color-coordinated swirls. The original orange flavor was reformulated around this time with the new slogan, "It's orange, only twisted." Orange Slice has since been changed back to its original flavor.[1] In the summer of 2000, lemon-lime Slice was replaced in most markets by Sierra Mist, which became a national brand in 2003. The rest of the Slice line was replaced in most markets by Tropicana Twister Soda in the summer of 2005, although the Dr. Slice variety can still be found in some fountains. In early 2006, Pepsi resurrected the Slice name for a new line of diet soda called Slice ONE. Marketed exclusively at Wal-Mart stores, Slice ONE was available in orange, grape and berry flavors, all sweetened with Splenda.

___ My favourite soft drink___ "Diet Coke" My favorite drink is diet coke. I used to drink Diet Pepsi when I lived on the Chittagong. Since moving to the Chittagong, I've discovered that Coke is superior, and I used to drink one or two cans a day. I've since switched to straight soda water and like it much better. I crash less without the caffeine, and the bubbles do just as much to perk me up - and it's healthier. I'm diabetic, so I don't do sugared sodas, but I've also tried to eliminate artificial sweeteners from my diet, especially aspartame, which research has shown to be a neurotoxin. When I want something a little sweet, I will just mix the soda with some juice (love mixing it with limeade), some grenadine, or I'll make a sort of "Rickey" with grenadine, lime and soda. Every so often I may break down and get a Diet Coke.

Favorite drink: Wild Turkey with ice. Wild Turkey is the best bourbon in its price-range because of its superior flavor and consistency. I like to enjoy one glass, over ice, and occasionally with a packet of salted peanuts, if I ever have to kill time in a bar. The higher proof of Wild Turkey 101 is not significant of potential expedient intoxication; the true connoisseur knows that the added kick of increased alcohol makes for a less viscous bourbon. As the ice melts, the ratio of bourbon to water is increased, allowing the drinker to take gradually bigger sips, as one conversely would with a hot cup of coffee or tea as it cools. Wild Turkey never has to be mixed. Its flavor maintains the characteristic sweetness of bourbon, but unlike its peers (Jim Beam, Rebel Yell) does not make that sweetness overblown and cloying. Instead, Wild Turkey offers a rare artistic self-expression with its unique mixture of flavors- pepper, caramel, smoke- that ultimately makes it less of a drink in a cocktail bar and more of an hitherto untold Kentucky history lesson.
