My workflow for editing and proofreading includes detailed notes alongside your original work. I leave your work untouched but provide my own thoughts, comments and suggestions alongside it. Ideally we could also have an online chat session to chat live about my thoughts on what is and is not working in your work. I find that suggestions and changes for this kind of work are best when executed in both directions. Though you need my advice to polish your work, you will still also want a degree of influence on the final work.
