Creative Writing- Account Editor

About Us: TrypleD is excited to announce the launching date: June 2011. Our vision is to be the main source of distribution for all online local advertising. We assist small businesses in creating & distributing coupon like discounts through a variety of online channels. About Position: TrypleD, a hot new startup based out of Atlanta is looking for an editor to help with the content creation process for our daily deals. We admire witty writing and word play . Job Responsibilities: • Edit copy for our daily deals • Write up to five snazzy deal descriptions each day • Proofread everything on the daily deal Requirements: • Solid examples to show your editorial prowess • A deft editorial eye, i.e. the ability to make people laugh and buy • Clever sense of humor • The ability to act and adapt quickly • Multi tasking • A great communicator • And... a strong desire to be a part of something new, exciting, and extremely fast-paced. Writing Test: Go to a daily deal website (e.g. [login to view URL], [login to view URL], etc) check out their deals...After you get an idea of how the writing structure and details are laid out (including business description, offer, and terms of purchase) for each deal, submit your own example to us. Additional notes for writing test: -Something funny, something sellable, something persuasive. -100-130 (max!!!) words per deal - Don't write titles / little details. We just want the witty deal description. Side Note for compensation: *First month we will pay per deal. Meaning every time you create content for a deal we will pay you for it. Most people have the ability to write 3-4 deals per hour.
