G'day Simocarter, Hopefully I can help you out. I've got 23+ years of experience of media production experience. You can see some of my previous freelance work by going to vimeo dot com and looking up 'schloog'. The main video on the page is one I recently completed for a tourism lodge on Kangaroo Island. I'm pretty much what you described in the description - I'm a jack-of-all trades media person - taught myself camera so I could film, then bought an edit suite and skilled myself up so that I could do all my own work. I spent 5 years working for SAPOL as their lead media producer and video forensic expert, and currently work as a freelance producer/camera op/editor/director. In this day and age, being multiskilled is a definite advantage when it comes to media, as is the ability to adapt and overcome! While I am based in Adelaide, I am perfectly willing to travel. We can work on keeping costs down by including travel as part of the overall budget. I do wonder how some of the other freelancers who have bid are planning to get to Sydney, when they are not even in Australia!
