Hello, I have studied in the United States for the past 9 years and as you know we are required to do a lot of proofreading as well as editing a lot of projects. You will have peace of mind if you let me proofread and edit your projects. I am interested in your project but you haven't stated how many words/pages, so I may have to adjust my bid price and time frame accordingly. I registered with Freelancer in February last year and have 56 reviews, all positive. English is my first language and my skills include technical writing, editing and proofreading. I was raised a Christian and one of my projects via Freelancer was transcribing three homilies. My recent work has included proofreading six theses on a variety of subjects, as well as individual chapters of academic writing. For two years I was a copy editor for Elsevier Science Publishers in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, rewriting text by authors who were not native English speakers. I have worked with individual clients to bring 15 books to publication and three of these clients have rehired me to work on a second book. Having been a teacher of English in high school for four years, I have spent many hours making corrections and suggestions for students' essays. For an additional two years I was a teacher of English as a second language.
