I would like to have a chip reader/writer put together that would allow me to read/write the contents from a Maxim DS2433 one-wire EEPROM.
I don't have any of the electronic components for the chip reader, so I would ask that you source out the necessary components and software so that you would provide me with the finished product that I would plug right into my PC. I'm not concerned about the cosmetic look of the chip reader/writer since I only need one of them for my own use, so in other words It doesn't have to be pretty as long as it works.. :-)
I do have a PC running linux Ubuntu along with standard windows machine so I am flexible on what type of software used for running the chip reader just as long as it is fairly user friendly.
I do have software available that I will be able to use to properly format the eeprom dump for re-writing back to the chip, but I just need a means of getting the info off and back onto the chip. So in other words I would like to be able to Read the data on the chip, Copy and Paste it into my software that will put it in the correct format with some changes, and then write it back to the eeprom chip.
I would be able to provide some test chips that have the data on them for you to use for testing on your end.
Let me know if you would be interested in looking at this project for me.
I was not sure how many hours this project would take, so we can discuss this afterwards if you are interested in this project.
I am fairly flexible on time frame, but would like to try and have the project completed in 3 to 4 weeks if possible.
We are located in the United States.
Hi, I have working solution with DS2432 which uses SHA-1 engine USB connection and Linux API. This one should be easier, but I would first like to discuss about what exact you need. Thanks in advance.
I am able to autonomously follow all phases of the project from the initial idea to prototype. I have more than 20 years of experience in designing embedded microprocessor devices.
Hi,
I am a full time electrical engineer and believe I am competent for this work. I have some experience working with EEPROM on previous home projects I have done. I requested 21 days, but can expedite if needed.
