I have solid experience not only in developing of Access databases, byt also in accounting (as a company director/owner) as well as in USAGE of Access databases. “USAGE” means: the architecture and functions of database should be developed in a way to be: - clear for people who use it; - time-effective (i.e. more save than waste time for operations with); - reliable (data integrity, avoiding mistakes etc.), so the experience of developing properly working databases came upon experience of usage ones. In your case the way you enter/get/bookkeep data in/from the database affects very much on the business-processes and vice versa. So, the best solution is to reflect business processes to database in a native way but respecting a strict accountancy rules.
