Thank you for the opportunity to bid on your project. In short, I work for a major public department in Australia. I’ve worked on MS Access databases daily for the past 13 years creating such things as systems for mail out campaigns, taxation analysis, debt management dashboard reports and analytical models. I have diplomas in information technology and an undergraduate degree in accounting (please visit my portfolio / client info link if you would like to know more about me). Here is my method of fixing the problems mention in the video. Problem 1: Retiring older record You can fix this by adding time dimension fields to your database table. At the end of the table add Rcrd_Start and Rcrd_End fields. Make the fields timestamp type. Set the default dates in the field properites as follows Rcrd_Start =now() and Rcrd_End as 31/12/9999. When a new record is created either manually change the existing Rcrd_End to the timestamp at that moment or make a macro to do it. A new record will add in the current start date and an end date into the far future. Set the filter on the table to show records where the current time stamp is between Rcrd_Start and Rcrd_End. Problem 2:Unique Email Domain Create another index in the email properties field and set to unique. Problem 3 @ Problem 4 These can be easily solved by building a form to input the data rather than inputting the data straight into a table.
