Book cover design for a psychology book. Drawing targeting 22-28 yrs highly educated people. I have a draft as an idea, but I'm not good in drawing ## Deliverables FRONT COVER FOR A BOOK. The title of the book is: NEW! psychology. paradigm. The book is based on a model ([[login to view URL]<wbr />php?pagename=[login to view URL]][1]) that describes what happens with us during e.g. problem solving or creating an artwork. I attach you a draft containing my idea on the graphics. Even if you are interested on working with me, please do not start making drafts before understanding some the model and my draft. Of course if you have better idea on what to put on the cover I'm ready to listen. The target audience is 22-28 yrs educated people in US and Western_Europe. I would like to have a fresh and revolutionary styled cover, not a boring, conservative one. It can be also cartoon-like. The story of the picture: a person slides down from the ground (normal everyday, Earth-level) deeper and deeper into hell. As he reaches the worst point of the hell a rocket (or elevator or else) takes him directly to the highest heaven. Hell and heaven should be well visualized. The base concept why the story is like this is the so called FIPP pattern: while solving a problem we feel worse and worse until we find the solution. Then suddenly (in no time) we start to be very happy, willing to embrace the world. The psychology model's essence should be visualized. The two state (being happy resp. being anxious) can be symbolized with the other two pictures attached. With numbers (1-3) I tried to show on the sketch the parallel between the scientific graph and the illustration. (maybe on the ground can be a hole where the slide starts; friends of the "slider" could appear in heaven waiting for him and listening to him- cf with communication constraint described in the FIPP article) Simplicity and some humor is welcome. After deciding whom to assign this project I would like to have a brain storming over skype. During the design process min. 3 sketches are requested + 5 revisions for the chosen sketch. When biding portfolio or a sketch is requested. IMPORTANT: the output of the work should be a ready to use frontcover (.pdf format) in line with [login to view URL]'s and [login to view URL]'s guidelines. Exact size will be provided later on.
