Developing a Concept Map Based Tool for Adaptive E-Learning. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES The aim of this project is to explore the following points that are related to e-learning and knowledge management: 1. Deliver e-learning content adaptively allowingstudents to learn according to their knowledge, abilities and skills. 2. Allow students to explore the subject matter adopting the reading strategy that is more suitable for them. 3. Increase student involvement and attention in the learning process. 4. SYSTEM DESIGN The project aims to design a system to be used in E-learning so that the student can access by using his ID. The system allow the student to manage a lecture based on his/her knowledge base through a navigation tool . The student can discover the content by clicking the concept area that is designed like a network structure then the slides related to the same concept will appear. The system also enable student to write down any comments that are related to the same concept. The history area traces the concepts that have been already explored by the student. These are saved in the learning history of each student and are presented in the interface with a different color,
