Android App Customization

We would like to have an existing open source news Android App modified and customized for our news website. The codebase is already complete and functional plus we will provide design guidelines and assets. Your core responsibility will be to customize existing code and integrate a few new SDKs. We are not interested in canned copy/paste responses, agencies & salespeople. (Full details with links and screenshots included in our "Design Guidelines" will be provided to winning bidder.) Customization & Integration needs: Use the "White House" Android app available on GitHub as the codebase: [login to view URL] 1. Change color scheme and branding to match ours. (Will be provided in winning bidder's Design Guidelines) 2. New content will be feed to the app via JSON API. Swap White House news content for our app review content. In lists, this will require using our featured thumbnail photo available in JSON API. 3. In ListViews (i.e. Trending Apps, Best of Best Apps categories) modify app listings to add more information from JSON API including app rating (i.e. 4.7/5), price, icon. (Will be provided in winning bidder's Design Guidelines) 4. On details/content page, add "Download" button (where download is link to Google Play found in JSON API). In addition to app rating, price, icon, developer. (Will be provided in winning bidder's Design Guidelines) 5. Integrate Google DFP SDK for ads. Only place ads on details/content page. Full integration guide here: [login to view URL] 6. The White House recently changed their push notifications from Urban Airship to Google Cloud Messaging. However, it is unclear is the current codebase hosted on GitHub contains this recent change. Therefore, we require you to determine whether the app includes Google Cloud Messaging for push notifications in addition to Urban Airship, or is it just Urban Airship? The goal is to alert the user each time new content is posted. If the latter, we would like to change and integrate Google Cloud Messaging. Full API can be found here: [login to view URL] 7. Add our Google Analytics ID to configuration file. 8. Change package name. 9. Change App Name. 10. Change Short App Name. (Will be provided in winning bidders Design Guidelines) 11. Change App Project Name 12. Change following categories in left slide-out menu (undergarment) to: - Blog = Trending Apps - Briefing Room = Best of Best Apps - (Add) Editor's Choice Apps - (Add) News - (Remove) Photos - Videos - (Remove) Live - (Add) Facebook - Favorites Deliverables: 1. Google Play Store ready APK signed with our keystore. 2. Zero new bugs and force close errors. 3. Copy of the modified code project.
