Automated JAVA TimeStamp Software - TimeStamp Code is included

Project aim is to create a automated java software that can be implemented in an Linux environment to TimeStamp files periodically. The .jar which does the time stamp will be provided, what i want is to customize that java code by some parameters(output directory,timestamp by system time,exporting to another folder etc.) or create a complete new java software which includes its libraries or .jar itself. Bid if you are fully comfortable working with automated linux - java environment.
