We can do this with the help of embedded Linux computer that is capable of connecting to wifi network (or ethernet as well), controls relays attached based on remote commands. Hi ! Please provide more details - this can be done in a whole variety of shapes . boards etc. The simplest way to have an embedded connected is to have a board with ethernet/wifi connectivity. This can be an Arduino with an ethernet shield (the 28J60 based one) or a Raspberry PI which has an ethernet connector or it can have wifi connectivity by simply connecting an USB wifi dongle. What kind of "automation" are you intend to do ? How many devices ? Connected by wire or wirelessly ? There a re a lot of detail to discuss before setting the right amount. BR Horia
