Automate google spreadsheet

We are currently using google spreadsheets to run our projects. I would like to automate all emails and send them at a click on a button rather than writing them all out. IF YOU KNOW A BETTER WAY TO AUTOMATE OUR BUSINESS WE ARE OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS TO NEW TECHNOLAGIES. We would like to have scripts do the following. We manage group bookings. When we click or insert a desired keyword or function into a cell, it will automatically take information from that row and email the persons email in that row. The email will have to pull data from different cells in that row. (What we want here is when we receive the deposit from the person, we record this on the spreadsheet as received, when we do this we want a confirmation email to be sent) To send pre written emails at specified dates as reminders, each row will have different dates that these must be sent. (This is reminding group leaders when there deposit is due and when there final payment is due) When a cell is updated with new group numbers, it will automatically inform the people that are involved in that row so they are kept up to date. The email will have to pull date from different cells along the row. (We book groups into hotels and activity centers, so when we update the group numbers the hotel and activity center should be automaticaly notified) When a certain keyword is typed into a cell, an email will automatically be sent or sent on command for each row. (Each time we pay a suppllier we must email them confirmation, so we want the email to be sent automatically, the email will have to pull different info from the cells.)
