Access Database Entry Work

We need someone with excellent Access query skills, an understanding of how relational databases work, and who is experienced in linked Access files to help convert debt agreement covenant data into an already existing database structure for uploading to our website. VBA programming skills are not required nor is a knowledge of debt covenants, but you do need a willingness to learn about debt covenants. Our implementation process consists of these steps: 1. Debt Compliance Services (DCS), my company, has an Access application that allows us to identify the covenants in a debt agreement and writes questions about those covenants. A given debt agreement might have 80 covenants and some 120 questions related to compliance with those covenants. 2. You would restructure the underlying tables to a slightly different format for uploading to our website. We have an Access database with a series of queries for making the necessary change. However, this is not an automatic process that we could have used VBA for. Review of the query changes is sometimes needed with appropriate editing. 3. When completed, the file is uploaded to our website for client review and editing. 4. When the client finishes, the file is downloaded into an expanded Access database structure. 5. Similar to 2, you would execute a series of existing queries and initiate VBA routines to restructure this data into a questionnaire database structure and a calender structure of regularly scheduled tasks. Again, while it has been automated to extent possible, review of query changes is sometimes needed and edited. 6. The edited file is then uploaded to our website. If the file is not properly constructed, the upload is rejected with error messages. Fix the errors and try again. 7. Client requirements and debt agreements can differ substantially, which requires flexibility to adjust the existing queries to deal with slightly different requirements. You would be expected to be able to make these adjustments after training in how the standard process works. The idea candidate would be someone who has a business background, who is quite familiar with working in Access, but who is not a programmer. We need someone who understands the final database schema objective, and can creatively figure out how to modify the existing query process to adjust for particular client specifics. We have a substantial amount of client work coming up, so there would be regular work coming up over the next several months.
