**I have an existing universal app for which I would like to implement iCloud synchronization**.
I have users requesting iCloud capability and don't have time to learn nor implement iCloud myself.
## Deliverables
I am looking for an iOS Developer with experience using **iCloud and UIDocumen**t to help with the following:
The app is a relatively simple "receipt book" that reads/writes data to a plist stored locally in the Documents folder. The data can exceed 64K so I believe the app needs to utilize UIDocument. My idea is to share the plist file, which contains the "receipt" data, by optionally storing it in iCloud.
The first time the app runs on user's device it should check for the device's ability to use iCloud and/or the iCloud availability and prompt the user accordingly, asking them whether or not they would like to use iCloud to store their receipts. If iCloud is available but has not yet been setup then iI would like to send the user over to "Settings" to allow them to set up iCloud.
The saved UIDocument should appear as "ezReceipt" in the iCloud Storage & Backup settings.
I have already setup a user preference to turn iCloud storage On/Off (see "PrefsViewController").
If the user decides to turn iCloud "On" then they should be alerted that doing so will move the data from their local device (the Documents folder) to iCloud. If the user decides to turn iCloud "Off" then they should be alerted that doing so will move the iCloud data back to the device (the Documents folder).
iCloud conflict resolution: It would be nice to provide options for "last edit wins" and merging.
I would like to continue to support older devices (iOS 3.1 and up) therefore this enhancement needs to check for an older iOS on the user's device and ignore the iCloud options and disable the iCloud user preference switch if appropriate.
All of the other existing app functionality must remain intact and not be adversely affected by this iCloud enhancement
I require all code changes to be clearly documented/commented so that I can easily locate them and learn from the experience.
And finally, I am open to your suggestions regarding any other aspects of the app.
