I am looking for the creation of an app. My vision is the ability to download, possibly from google maps / earth, a selected map covering an area. The app will keep this map 'alive' in memory cache, and later, when the device is taken 'offline' the GPS will be able to use the cached map from within the app to show a position on the map. For example, you have a wifi only ipad. You want to download a city map. You want to be able to add points of interest from the app. Later, when you're in the city and out of wifi coverage, your ipad will work in offline mode to show you where you are on the map. I want a selection of packages for the app - tourist, explorer, etc.
