App for Android and IOS (About birds from Argentina)

My idea is this: A mobile application that helps field ornithologists (bird watchers, birders in English) to identify the birds that cross, or know more about them. Would have to make a database where 979 birds can be found in Argentina are (remember that this data I bring myself, I imagine it could pass in Word) with description and photo. Put a search bar where the user can directly enter the name of the bird (eg "Benteveo") and to exit the photo and info. Also you can find an area (for example "Buenos Aires"), and to skip the list birds there. The other part of the app, and this is what interests me and excites is to "crosscheck". Make a tool "new search" where the user determine some criteria that have been observed, for example approximate size (would create 5 or 6 groups in centímenters range, eg "Giant: between 150cm and 80cm", it has to be in centimeters because this is an app for Argentina.) color, county, and other options that I have thought about, and that the app make a cross of birds that fit into these criteria and pull the list, so that the viewer ends to determine what bird did he saw.
