The Software that would have the following components. 1. Billing 2. Customer service 3. Operations 4. Document management 5. Email and sms capability BILLING The billing component would be to bill customers and also to produce invoices for customers CUSTOMER SERVICE This part of the software would be for the input of POD and also to call up details of delivery for customers. It would also have to interface with the billing as the POD are on the invoices. OPERATIONS This aspect is to produce documents for the operations department e.g manifest, shipment delivery sheets. It should also have where deliveries can be assigned to different territory and couriers DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT This should would be to basically archive the POD so that they can be printed when required and also to be able to convert them into a PDF format so that they can be emailed to customers. EMAIL AND SMS CAPABILITY It should have the capability for SMS amd emails. It should be web based and the AWB should be able to be on our website so that customers can fill online. We should also be able to print Airway bills and compatible with tracking softwares and a few accounting softwares
