Enhancements / Changes --------------------------------- The existing functionalities in the application (all) should remain as it is with the following enhancements/changes: 1. Microsoft Office is actively used or associated with the application all over the application. Currently the application cannot run without MS-Office. To remove the dependence on MS-Office - modify accordingly. All functionalities must remain and should work smoothly. The application must work without MS-Office. 2. Replace current Ghostscript PDF library with the new PDF Library provided and modify accordingly. 3. Automatic installation of the application print driver (already done in current version however it should work fine in the new version too) 4. To remove current "New from Template" concept. Currently it supports cell (spreadsheet style) data entry with predefined templates. Propose to change this to HTML forms data entry feature, so that the HTML forms can be created easily, changed or added from outside the application. Data entry is then captured via the HTML forms and saved. Upon conversion, PDF forms can remain as it is, however text forms must get confirmation from user to retain format or provide in plain text form. 5. To allow user to download new templates, icons, profiles via "Check for Update" feature already available in the application from webserver. Upon completion of download the application must automatically recognised the new templates when application is executed, icons placed in icons folder and profiles placed in profiles folder. 6. To support all Windows operating systems - Window 95 onwards (already done in current version however it should work fine in the new version too) 7. To support all screen resolutions - 480x640 onwards upto to maximum (1024x1024) (already done in current version however it should work fine in the new version too) more information on the attachment ... ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
