DirectX Audio Module

This should be a fairly simple task for an experienced DirectX developer. Unfortunately I don’t have the time or interest to learn the SDK which has proven to be rather cryptic. What you will be creating is a wrapper that encapsulates DirectPlay functionality. I believe that DirectPlay is the right technology, DirectSound may be easier. I need the ability to play both individual notes and chords (MIDI will be best for this). The chords will be generated on the fly (ie; I will need to pass a structure or array to the object you create containing the notes required to make the chord, the object will map the notes to a chordmap and send them to the sound card). Ideally, my function calls will look like this (incredibly simple illustration): //play a CMajor Chord String[] noteArray = {“C??,??E??,??G??); musicObj obj = new musicObj(); [login to view URL](noteArray); [login to view URL](); I would also like to include octaves. The MIDI voice I plan to use will be for the acoustic guitar. If it is easily accomplished, I would like to include bends and hammeron/pull-off effects as well, however, that functionality can be included at a later stage (perhaps a second version). ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The module should be in C#.net
