To start, take a few minutes to follow the steps. 1. Go to the following site: <[login to view URL]> 2. Download the Family of LEADTOOLS Multimedia Eval SDKs Download from the above site. 3. Install it on your computer. 4. After installation is complete go to the following location on your computer depending on where you have installed API evaluation. Mine is FOlowing: C:\Program Files\LEAD Technologies, Inc\LEADTOOLS Multimedia EVAL 15.0\Examples\Ltmm\cpp\player\ 5. Open the Visual C++ Demo Project and run it. Name of VC++ Project file is Player. 6. After running it....You'll see the the Demo: On the Demo, Go to File->open URL... enter the following URL there (You can also type this URL on your webbrowser to test..its very exciting): mms://[login to view URL] 7. And press ok. 8. Now go to File-Save and save the video to your disk for fun. Above steps will give you the sample code and very good idea of the whole project.. Now let me start with the description: I need a Function in Visual C++ (no MFC). Function Name: GetBuffer Parameters: (char * or array of characters..whatever) Any mms URL like following. "mms://[login to view URL] " Description: A simple function which uses LeadTools API and to download the file from the URL (URL is the paramter) and save it in a Buffer or array of bytes. Function Return Value: Buffer/Array of bytes.. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): A simple visual C++ project (MFC should not e used) which I can run and test. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
