Database Security Research Whitepaper

Greetings, To begin with, let me state that this project should be as much a **creative adventure as it is a technical piece of research**. I am searching for an individual who is not only skilled in technical writing, but also has the ability to think at a higher level. This individual should possess college-level English language and grammar skills, as well as a passion for, and an in-depth understanding of, **database and security technology** (or at least have a keen interest in researching it). This is **not** a bid to write a 'keyword content' article, this is a request for Bachelors-level research and analysis (thesis/dissertation style of writing). You will be expected to take a set of current research and general information that you locate, analyze that acquired data to find shortcomings or just basic facts and points of interest, and then formulate a new idea or view or technology that might address those needs. (**Please note**, I am **not** requiring a thesis/dissertation (or anything even close), I just require that *style* of writing. This is considerably smaller, as I only require a minimum of twenty-five pages). ** *Please see the *'Deliverables'* section below for the exact paper 'Specifications' *Please see the *'Deliverables'* section below for the procedure I would like you to follow when 'Making a Bid' **I will consider established RAC coders, as well as the beginners looking to build a relationship on RAC. This is only the first part of an intended multi-part bid, so I would like to forge a lasting partnership. In addition, my timing is extremely flexible (so there should be no worries in that regard). I have a good RAC rating and my comments hopefully reflect my treatment toward the coders I have worked with in the past. I love a layed-back, streamlined process with great communication. A paper of, at minimum, twenty-five pages in length (12-point Times New Roman) 2.) Consisting of a minimum of ten references to articles appearing in **peer-reviewed journals** 3.) Basically applying the idea of **Bloom's Taxonomy** (please see <[login to view URL]> and <[login to view URL]> for examples I 'Googled', or 'Google' your own) 4.) The usual bibliography (MLA, APA, etc. is acceptable) 5.) Copies of sources used, if available (must have approval for source if physical copy not available!) **The topic for this research will center on database security. Topics that are more specific might be:** ***“Identify the management issues and concerns surrounding database security in a web based environment??*** ***“Compare and contrast the security features and functionality included with three major database vendors.??*** These are merely examples, but you are also free to use them for this project. If you have something more outside the box that would suit itself well to thesis-level investigative work relating to databases and security, please propose it. (Something radical might be your revolutionary idea regarding an automated self-defending/auto-retaliating database component to solve a problem you uncovered in typical database security today). Regarding time constrains, there really are no hard-set dates. Time is not extremely important, although the estimated length must be pre-approved. The most important factor is quality and your time schedule. It is understood, obviously, that the material **must be completely original**. Unfortunately, due to the risk a project like this carries for the buyer, any work will be evaluated using the largest plagiarism detection platform available prior to work being accepted as ‘complete' on RAC. **Making a Bid:** If you do decide to make a bid, please include your qualifications or any pertinent information you feel should be mentioned. You must be able to demonstrate your skills with examples of current or completed research into databases and/or security (although leave me a comment anyway if you have not done such research, but are at least interested in it), should have a good technical writing or thesis-style writing background, working knowledge of MLA/APA, and a good amount of creativity and curiosity for technological exploration. 2) The document must be done in a Microsoft Word compatible format. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased, including author recognition.
