ASP.Net and Earthlink Web Setup Training

Training and resolution for the following. 1) Review setup of IIS and Visual [login to view URL] -- assume configuration problems, but 404 message during attempt to open a new project and local web-server stopped and won't restart. And, how to setup an ASP page that links to an uploaded MS-Access database on my site. I also need recommendations on security and access.
