Backup Currency Exchange PHP Script

Hi, We currently have a currency exchange PHP script running on [login to view URL] The problem is, now the currency exchnage is not working for some reason, and my guess is it's because something is wrong with the currenct source ([login to view URL]) So what we need is for someone to fix the script, or add another reliable source that the script could use to find the currency exchnage rate for the specified currency in the script file. The first coder who worked on this did an excellent job, since the script has been working, but we need another source added, so that the website is never not showing a currecy rate as it is now. Maybe a function could be created so that the script "caches" the last currency rate it saw, or saves the last currency rate it retrieved in a database, and if it cannot connect to a source, or it is unable to get the current rate from the source, then it will default to showing the last rate it retrieved. That would be a good function to have so that the script never goes "offline" and we just have a blank space on the website. This is a piece of cake for any PHP specialist. Even the creator of the script only charged us $30, so I would expect bids in that range, but I will leave it open to fair suggestion. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform PHP/MySQL
