We are a wireless cell phone company. We basically need a design similar to:
Our site is going to have the same concept, and some admin panel driven way for us as the admin to add new phones or accessories without having to edit the backend.
We will provide with all the images and the text description to use for all products.
[login to view URL] is pretty close to what we're lookng for. Basically a simple top menu, and a simple left menu that shows 1.) Phones and 2.) Accessories. Under Phones we'll have categorized by Motorola, Nokia etc. Once you click on the name of a manufacturer such as Nokia, the pages that it takes it to will be all the nokia phones. Once you click on one of the Nokia phone, it will show the phone details images and description. At this page user will have an option to "Add to Cart" and ultimately checkout with paypal, but that will be phase too. For now, we can just display the price but not have the ability to buy online. But the code should be written so that buying online can be implemented in phase 2 fairly quickly.
The way we want this done, we think it should be a simple php database project. We're open to other ideas.
We also want the right meta tags and keywords used so that the website is search optimized.
