Community website

This project is to build a community website "shell" that can be accessed from the WEB as well as mobile webbrowsers, not necessarily WAP browsers. Our webdesigner will from the delivered product create the actual site look and feel but need a working shell". We are open to the programmers suggestion and good imagination on how to create a good community website with a mobile touch (mobile web access and SMS messaging). The website is to be built using tools preferred by the programmer, PHP and MySql are recommended. Other tools can be accepted as long as it can be run on a standard Linux server and displayed without special plugins. The site shall be fully database driven and support user uploads of media. The users own pages should be possible to personalize to some extent either using templates or similar. The user pages should display the uploaded photos and videos (mp4). The personal page should have one profile section, one media section, one blog/comment section. The profiles and media should be possible to vote for. The voting and commenting is done in a separate system that is interfaced to this site. The public pages should be searchable and the profiles photos displayed on front page as well as search pages. Messages to and from the site are sent through SMS, using our own existing separate system that will be interfaced to this site. There should be a signup and login functionality using SMS for verification. This site is much up to the programmers imagination and we look for good suggestions rather then to follow a strict specification, remember that all message are sent using mobile devices / SMS. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform PHP / MySQL is recommended but can be a programmer choice. Suggestions are welcome.
