Add music to flash slideshow

We have a flash slideshow that we would like to get updated to include the ability to play music. Currently the images to display in the slideshow and some other values used in the slideshow are saved in an XML-like file that is then passed to the slideshow. To include the music with the slideshows we would like to simply add the URL locations of the music files to the XML file and then have the slideshow get the from there. I am envisioning a drop list with the different music titles that the viewer could select to listen to as they watch the slideshow, with a default song playing to start. And of course the ability for them to mute the music if they choose.
