[login to view URL] Specific page example: [login to view URL] We need add a calendar so users can select a date to hire a dress rather than the list we currently have (too confusing). Calendar must account for the fact that the dress is shipped 2 days prior to booking date and is available only after 5 days post the return date. Dresses only hired for single days. Style Carousel requirements: Automatic tracking of stock and greying out of the calendar for unavailable dates. Website admin can change the state to 'returned' if the dress is back before the end of the 5 days. Additional info. 1. It's OK to leave unpaid orders in the database, but these won't affect stock levels. Only paid orders will reduce stock for some dates. Unpaid orders can be removed manually if desired. (Note that lemonstand doesn't support the notion of doing something periodically like clearing out unpaid orders. It would have to be done using a system script.) 2. You only reserve a dress once you pay for it, not once you put it in your cart. 3. Dresses are only hired for a single day, not a date range (according to the FAQ on StyleCarousel.) So if you hire a dress for the 10th it is out of stock from the 8th until the 15th.
