Amnesty Auto-Emailer - Simple Project

I have an idea for software that could be extremely useful to Ammnest International, the Human Rights Charity. This software should preferably be in Visual Basic The software would check a website for the latest e-mail urgent actions, retrieve the urgent action e-mail target address and template and send it using the POP settings set in a person's Outlook Express, or if the person prefers, set up manually. Thus, allowing a person to send an e-mail for all urgent actions without having to think about it. Program set-up should come with a wizard defining the user's email settings and a disclaimer agreeing to let the software send all urgent actions though the person's e-mail account. The software should run in the taskbar, check for urgent actions whenever the PC is online, send the urgent actions and then remember they are sent to avoid duplicates. A log should be created for user's peace of mind. I am a member of Amnesty with a good idea to help people through helping a fantastic organisation. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform This software should be as compatible as possible with different versions of windows.
