I'm looking for a small css style code that creates a 'strike-behind' effect. It is the same as a strike-through effect with the difference that this css style adjusts to the width of the page/div/td(table). The effect strikes the whole width and disappears just a couple of pixels before and after the text. The css must be applied in-line, so no external css file is used. Like mentioned before it must work for a div/page/tablecell. It needs to work in both safari, ie, firefox and opera, new and older versions. Attached is a sample mock-up of how it should look.
